The family of the Lockerbie bomber are planning to sue the Scottish Government for “neglect,” according to Libyan leader Colonel Gaddafi.
In an address to staff and students at the London School of Economics, Gaddafi claimed that once Abdelbaset al-Megrahi dies, his family will demand compensation because he was deliberately neglected in prison.
Speaking to Nicky Campbell on BBC Radio 5 live Breakfast, the father of a victim of the 1988 Lockerbie bombing said, “I can’t imagine the Scottish authorities being deliberately neglectful.”
Reverend John Mosey also insisted that “on a physical level it would seem he was very well catered for. Possibly above the average.”
